Went to Fort Canning Park this evening to watch
Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespears.
It was great!
Hard to understand at first,
but i managed to get hold of the story after a few scenes.
It was humourous,
especially with Adrian Pang as the lead actor.
He has some 'naked' scenes though!

Everything was perfect, except the weather.
It was freaking HOT.
And that's the main reason why Nicholas kept complaining.
You have no idea how long it took me to persuade him,
to watch this musical with me.
And i'm so glad we finally went tonight.

We 'hike' our way up to the fort canning centre.
And when we reached there i was like 'wow'.
So many people.
But we managed to get a good spot.
It was such a nice experience.
Picnic and watching the musical together.
Though some irritating flies came by once a while,
and that we have frequent cramps coz we sat too long.

The musical lasted about 2 hrs and 40 mins,
with 20 mins interval.
After the show ended, we hike down again lor.
And when i asked Nicholas how was the show,
he was like 'not bad leh'.
Haha.
Not a bad idea for a date right?

Ok, i know i havent been blogging much these days.
Coz there really isnt any special events to blog about.
And that my life has been the same routine every week.
Band, organ, driving and meeting nicholas.
Though it seemed like i'm slacking,
but i'm out almost everyday!

Anyway, GRADUATION today!
It was boring at first,
but it turned out to be fun after the whole ceremony.
The speech by SBM head and Guest of Honour was dreadful.
But Teng Chung's speech struck me the most.
A very meaningful one.
There were few videos shown,
and i was so happy to see so many pics of me up there.
Ok la, is the OSEP pictures.
But all so nice can.

So after everything ended, i took pictures with my daddy and sis.
(Btw, so many ppl say me and my sis look alike lor :\)
And of coz took pictures with my fellow classmates.

Went for my first driving lesson today.
Was quite nervous coz dunno how my instructor will be.
And he turned out to be nice.
He thought me the basics,
like checking the engine and changing the tyres.
After 30 min of the lesson,
he started teaching me DRIVING.
How to control the vehicle, change gears, brake and accelerate.
Manual was hell lot of fun.
I was telling him initially i was in the auto course,
then i transferred to manual.
So after i had driven a few rounds at the border of the circuit, he suddenly said, 'dun change back to auto'.
Then he told me i was doing good in manual!
OMG.
I so happy.
Ok la, i cheat a bit.
He know that i did drive before.
Coz he mentioned that first-time learners,
are not so steady.
And he was true, i drove daddy's car a few times.
But his car is auto and happened 2 years ago leh.
Heh heh, so i'm still considered a fast learner right?

I really enjoyed the lesson.
So eager for my next lesson on sunday.
But sometimes i forgot about the clutch pedal when i stop,
then the whole engine shuts down.
Have to restart again.
But most of the time i was steady.
I cant wait to drive out to the public roads!!!

Yesterday's outing was the best ever!
Met Nic at bukit batok at 12 plus, then took train to yck.
Thiam Wei was already there by the time we reached,
and we all headed to JJ's car.
First time kanna driven by JJ.
He is a good driver man!

Then we headed to Ikea Tampines for lunch.
Super filling.
Meatballs and chicken.
All the while the 3 guys chatted about manga and all.
So i just gong gong listen lor.
After that we went Tampines 1,
Walked around for less than 30 mins then we head to amk,
PLAY LAN.
OMG la.
I dun play lan at all.
But it was damn fun!
Life 4 dead.
And, not suprisingly, I was the first to die.
And how i died?
The big big creature chased after me, i just keep walking backward.
And the next minute, i was off the building,
and fell to my death!
AND I DIDNT KNOW.
Until JJ said 'guanqi! you jumped off the building?!'
Haha!
In the end, all died!

Met the 7 Germans at 5.30pm.
Brought them to chomp chomp.
My first time there, and we ordered all the local delicacies.
Hokkien mee x2, fried kway teow x2, oyster, satay, stingray, squid,
chicken wing x2, rojak, popiah, carrot cake x2, sugar cane juice x10
We had a hard time finishing the food.

After dinner, German bar at Holland V.
My first time there also.
The Germans were so happy.
Coz they finally feel like home!
Drank and chit chat.
Then SarahJane came.
Left the place close 10 plus.
Drove the Germans back to their hostel at NYP.
And that was my first time in Sarah's car.
Frightening experience.
I better not say anything here or she'll kill me.

Visited their hostel, and i think it is super nice.
Chit chatting a while then JJ said, 'let's go jalan kayu for prata!'
Oh great, i'm very full already.
But in the end, sarah, JJ, Thiam wei, Nic, 3 Germans and i,
head to the place for prata lor.
1 banana prata and milo dinosaur is enough for me.
After the meal, JJ was like saying 'I've never been out with my friends for 3 meals.'
And i was laughing like hell.
We chatted mostly about our Germany trip last yr.

Finally head home around 1am with Nic and Sarah.
And great, we had to sit in her car again!
*scared....
But really enjoyed, as in the whole outing.
All of us gathering together again, except for Reb.
But we'll plan again!
Bring the Germans to Sentosa!
